Any amendment of the Australian Citizenship Act 2007 must ensure that due process and natural justice is not forfeited, said National President of the Migration Institute of Australia, Angela Chan FMIA.

Ms Chan’s comments follow the Commonwealth Government’s announcement that the amendments would mean dual nationals who engage in terrorism could lose their citizenship even if they have not been convicted of a criminal offence of terrorism.
